Established with the aim of becoming one of the most qualified research and data centers in Istanbul, Strategic Research Center (ITOSAM), Istanbul Researches, Data Analytics, Stakeholder Relations, It consists of Statistics Units and Dersaadet Library. Main duties of our units. Among them are:

• Statistics Unit; Price indexes published by our Chamber since 1914 are important economic indicators used in making economic decisions and determining changes in the purchasing power of money. Two different index studies are carried out to determine retail and wholesale price levels. Data published in various institutions and organizations of our country. Our Chamber prepares periodicals that include statistical information including data. It conducts surveys to reveal the effects of economic developments on the sector, to identify their problems and expectations, and to measure the evaluations of users who benefit from our Chamber's services. Information, demands, valuation and index article requests from official institutions and our members are met.
• Istanbul Researches Unit; Research, reports, directives and suggestions that will guide the economic, social and cultural development of Istanbul, Turkey's largest city; It aims to bring it to the attention of stakeholders, companies and decision makers. Research studies include revealing the socio-economic situation of the city, identifying problem areas and recommending policies and projects for the future.
• Data Analytics Unit; It was established to create a reliable, comprehensive and constantly updated data pool specifically for Istanbul. The production of all relevant data and data sets, which will form the basis of studies and research to be carried out specifically in Istanbul, visualizes the data by collecting them in a large data pool.
• Stakeholder Relations Unit; It aims to increase ITOSAM's representative power and maintain reliable and sustainable corporate relations with stakeholders. It carries out the activities of sharing all studies, events and research activities carried out within the center with the relevant institutions, stakeholders and the public. Statistics Unit; It carries out 2 different Index studies to determine retail and wholesale price levels. In addition to the data published by various institutions and organizations of our country, our Chamber also prepares periodicals containing statistical information including its data.
• Dersaadet Library; By providing access to all our Chamber's publications from past to present, it also serves all its users in print and digital media with its wide collection on economy, trade and Istanbul.
